Masters in Motion

Growing older is a fact of life.  Everyone will experience it. How you grow older is up to you. altKeeping physically fit, remaining socially active, and keeping your mind engaged is a healthier way to age and live your life to the fullest.

Your YMCA Wellness journey will consist of the following

  • 45 minute group sessions, 2 times per week
  • Weight sessions to develop bone density
  • Movement sessions to improve general wellbeing and aid your independent lifestyle
  • Flexibility and balance sessions for improved neurological function
  • Brain exercises to keep the mind alert and healthy
  • Nutritional advice with the older person in mind
  • Social environment to keep you young at heart

All classes are capped at 8 participants (Mt Gravatt) and 12 participants (Bowen Hills) per session so you receive the personal attention you deserve.
